The 2025 Sex Ed Week of Action is wrapping up, but our work is far from over!

SIECUS’ 2025 Valentine’s postcard. The background is a bright, cool pink with various Valentine’s stickers scattered. A cutout comic-style face of a woman with Black hair, bright red lipstick, and blue eyes is at the center-right. To the left of her face is a heart-shaped callout box reading “you + siecus? a perfect match!”.

WOW. What. A. Week. 💥 You showed up, spoke out, and fought for sex education—and we’re just getting started.

Today, on the final day of Sex Ed Week of Action, we’re centering consent and healthy relationships education—because every young person deserves to learn about respect, boundaries, and safety.

In celebration of today’s theme–Youth Deserve: Consent and Healthy Relationships Education–we’re excited to highlight our SEPAC partner, the YWCA Evanston/Northshore in Illinois. With support from a Week of Action microgrant, they’re expanding their efforts to reach more schools and districts, helping them meet Erin’s Law mandates for child abuse prevention education. This initiative is a key step toward their broader goal of providing comprehensive sex education for students, alongside training for parents and staff.

💌 Here’s how to close out the week strong:

Send a thank-you message to educators, advocates, and lawmakers fighting for sex ed.

Make a lasting impact and share the love this Valentine’s Day by donating to support the fight for sex ed. Your gift directly supports movement-building programs like Sex Ed Week of Action, technical assistance for our SEPAC partners, and advocacy for quality sex ed policies at the national level.
